What this course offers
The programme provides comprehensive preparation for working in bar and café services, combining technical knowledge, customer care, management and hands-on experience.
Throughout the course, students learn to carry out the different processes of food and beverage service at the bar and at the table, to prepare and present beverages, to understand and serve wine, and to prepare and display the simple dishes typical of a bar or café menu.
The programme also covers the financial management of the establishment, oversight of its activity, the use of software systems, safety and hygiene, and environmental protection. It further includes professional English applied to food service, a particularly relevant skill in a sector closely tied to international tourism.
