The eighteenth additional provision of Law 14/2013, of September 27, regulates this international mobility pathway, which can facilitate the incorporation of foreign talent into Spanish companies.

What requirements must be met?

This authorisation is aimed at foreign individuals who are pursuing studies leading to a higher education degree or who have obtained such a degree within the two years prior to the application.

The internships must be formalised through an internship agreement or an employment contract, as appropriate, and comply with the conditions established in the applicable regulations. Furthermore, it is necessary to verify the specific requirements of each case and prepare the corresponding documentation to process the authorisation before the competent body.
